Exfoliate and Hydrate
The better the canvas the more perfect the picture.
Nothing can give your make up a more uneven finish than dry dead surface skin. It is a nightmare for a make-up artist. Invest in a good quality exfoliant and moisturiser.
If unsure seek advice from your Beauty Therapist.
Do not wax the day before!
If you wax your brows or other facial areas be sure to do this a few days in advance. Waxing removes a fine layer of skin therefore not allowing product to adhere. Make sure you have a good pair of tweezers to pluck any late bloomers.
Don't stress, don't worry
Nothing causes those unwanted nasties like spots, blemishes, cold sores and others more than stress.
Treat yourself to professional facials and products to make sure your skin is in the best possible shape. Be sure to start these several months before the big day.
Sleep and Fatigue
Make-up can not get rid of bags and darkness under the eye area. Lack of sleep and excessive tiredness can cause paleness to the skin allowing blood underneath the skin to become more visible and appear blue or darker. Some make up can lessen the discolouration under the eyes but may in turn enhance things such as fine lines and wrinkles. For beautiful bright eyes quality sleep is a must.
(There are also other causes of discolouration if unsure seek advice.)
